who we are
Fort Treehouse Co. is a Canadian design and hospitality company redefining how we experience nature—through architecture, sustainability, and a deep respect for place.
Founded by Lauren and Cam Green, Fort began with a single treehouse and a clear vision: to build meaningful, design-forward spaces that connect people to the land and to each other. What started as a sketch on a napkin has evolved into a growing portfolio of immersive, off-grid stays—each one architecturally considered, ethically constructed, and grounded in purpose.
Lauren brings a background in leadership, brand building, and creative entrepreneurship, shaping Fort into a globally recognized brand that is challenging traditional tourism models. Her approach draws on Nordic design values—clarity, restraint, and connection to nature—and she remains focused on building a sustainable company rooted in long-term impact.
Cam leads operations, project management, and construction, with nearly two decades of experience in outdoor education and the trades. Equal parts strategist and builder, he brings a detail-oriented, values-driven approach to everything from infrastructure to guest experience. His craftsmanship is helping to redefine modern sustainable building—creating structures that are both high-performing and deeply human.
Together, Lauren and Cam are building more than treehouses. They’re building a new standard for nature-based stays—where design, ethics, and environmental responsibility are never compromised.
