ABOUT US
OUR STORY
In a world where hunger for more is the norm, we yearned for something less. It was a simple ‘yes’ that changed everything – a yes to our natural surroundings, a yes to learning through observation, and a deep appreciation for nature itself.
The journey simply began with a desire for a different kind of existence, and so we stripped away everyday distractions, allowing nature to be our guide. In doing so, we discovered something profound; something we knew we had to share with others.
We are Lauren and Cam.
Founders of Fort. Dreamers of wildness.
WHO WE ARE
Fort Treehouse Co. is a Canadian design and hospitality company focused on reshaping how we experience nature through architecture, sustainability, and a deep respect for place.
Founded by Lauren and Cam Green, Fort began with a single treehouse and a clear vision: to create meaningful, design-forward spaces that connect people to the land and to one another. What started as a simple sketch has grown into a portfolio of immersive, off-grid stays, each shaped by its setting and built with long-term responsibility in mind.
Fort remains entirely founder-led. From early design decisions and construction to brand direction and guest experience, every element is shaped with continuity and care. This level of integration is rare in contemporary hospitality.
Influenced by Nordic design principles, the work prioritizes clarity, restraint, and deliberate simplicity. At its core is a belief that less is more.
Together, they are shaping a new standard for design-led landscape hotels in Canada, where immersive architecture and environmental integrity operate as one.
