The Hydda is Hårtwood’s communal gathering space —a place to ease into the day or linger into the evening. Here, guests and neighbours will find a carefully edited selection of Canadian-made provisions, forest-inspired goods, and a distinctive wine program designed to complement time spent in the woods.

The wine list draws from low-intervention producers across the globe. Built in collaboration with Gibson & Company, it favors small-production wines selected with restraint and intention.

As the afternoon settles in, The Hydda shifts naturally toward the bar, with simple provisions and small plates to support relaxed, informal gatherings.

For full property buy-outs, The Hydda becomes an exclusive, private setting. Groups are invited to bring in a chef or catering partner of their choosing, allowing the dining experience to be shaped entirely to the season and occasion.

Whether selecting a bottle or gathering fireside, The Hydda brings a distinctly modern wine bar experience into the forest and invites you to stay a little longer.

The Hydda may be reserved during select off-peak hours for private gatherings — from group dinners and off-site lunches to intimate celebrations. A forest-immersed setting designed for connection, with the option to bring in a chef or catering partner to shape the experience.
