Wrapped in windows and finished in natural materials like Baltic birch ply and earthen floors, this elevated, open-concept treehouse features a king bed in a lofted bedroom, a propane fireplace, a well-equipped kitchenette, and a spa-style bathroom with a rain shower and heated floors.

Outside, enjoy a private wraparound deck, an outdoor shower, a ground-level fire pit, and a wood-fired cedar hot tub set beneath the trees—your invitation to forest bathing, Fort-style.

Welcome to The Baltic—the original Fort Treehouse, nestled in the heart of Ontario’s Haliburton Highlands. Designed as a true escape in the trees, The Baltic combines the comfort of a boutique stay with the quiet wonder of life elevated. Surrounded by forest and wrapped in windows, it offers an immersive experience in every season, with expansive views of Ontario’s iconic evergreens, mixed hardwood forest and sky from a new and transformative perspective.

Climb the steps to your private wraparound deck, then enter into a space grounded in natural materials and clean, modern design. Walls and ceilings are fully clad in Baltic birch plywood, while earthen floors, made from local sand, straw, and clay, provide a warm and tactile foundation.

KEY FEATURES
Dog-friendly: One well-behaved dog is welcome per stay. You’ll be able to select the dog add-on after booking. Our pet policy can be found in our terms and conditions prior to booking.
Wood-fired hot tub: Heated on arrival. Guest-managed during your stay, with firewood and instructions provided.
Neighbours: We live next door and we value your privacy as much as we do ours. The properties remain very private from one another yet we are here if you need anything.

The treehouse is off-grid and built with natural, sustainable materials including tree-safe hardware that preserves the health of the host trees.
